A Symbol of Hope
For decades, visitors have been sharing inspiring stories of faith, love, hope, and often, miracles, with the Lasker Jeweler’s team. Nicole was inspired to create a design to represent the hope we need when faced with life’s challenges.
In addition to creating a beautiful jewelry design, Nicole wanted to create something that could help others through charitable contributions. The Star of Hope not only gives the wearer hope, it also brings hope to others through charitable giving.
What Inspired the Star of Hope Project
The Search
The Laskers designed the Star of Hope after noticing how many people came into Laskers Jewelers searching for a symbol of hope while undergoing treatment at the nearby Mayo Clinic.
The Meaning
They sought to develop a piece that would be not only beautiful but deeply meaningful and encouraging to the people who wore it, no matter what they were going through.

About Lasker Jewelers and Diamonds
The store was first founded by Max Lasker in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
1928
Laskers has been a family owned business since 1928
In 1973, the business expanded into Rochester, Minnesota. The current owners, Liz and Nicole Lasker, are Max’s granddaughters, and they continue the mission of delivering quality jewelry to help commemorate moments in life.
